WAYS TO BE A FRIEND OF THE LIBRARY
- VOTING MEMBER – Be part of the process and help with planning events! Voting members must attend all meetings (in order to know what is going on and make decisions) and volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month (48 hours per calendar year). Members can become voting members after attending three consecutive meetings.
- MEMBER – You can be a FRIEND and have it fit your life and passions! Six (6) meetings per year and shared access to information such as newsletters and email. Members can serve the library through volunteer efforts in many ways. Committing to at least one of our annual book sales, Columbia County Fair booth, special events, and library work. Just let us know how you would like to work with us. Do you have a craft or talent you would like to share? That can be part of your friend field.
- FRIEND OF A FRIEND – Specific event fun without the commitment. Let us know your favorite event and we can make sure you get the information you need to be part of the process.
- FUNDING FRIEND – At this time the Friends of the Dayton Memorial Library does not have annual membership dues. But you can be a Funding Friend by an annual donation.
